App terms of service
Last updated 20 August 2026
These terms cover your use of the Kaya5 app. Use of the public website is governed by our website terms. By using the app you agree to what follows.
What Kaya5 is, and what it is not
Kaya5 gives you a personalised daily routine drawn from Ayurvedic practice, and tells you the reason behind each recommendation.
It is educational. It is not medical advice, not a diagnosis, not a prescription, and not a substitute for care from a qualified clinician. Nothing in the app is a clinical finding, however confident it sounds. Never delay or disregard professional medical advice because of something you read here.
Do not use Kaya5 in an emergency. If you may be seriously unwell, contact your local emergency service or a doctor.
Your constitution reading is a heuristic based on what you tell us and, if you allow it, what your device measures. It is a starting point for reflection, not a test result.
Who can use it
You must be 18 or older. You need an account, and you are responsible for what happens under it. Access during our early access period is by invitation, and we may end or change that access.
Your own judgement, and your clinician’s
You decide what to act on. Some practices do not suit some bodies, conditions, medications or pregnancies. If you have a health condition, are pregnant, or take medication, talk to your doctor before changing your diet, taking a supplement, or starting a new physical practice — including ones this app suggests.
Practitioners
Where the app connects you with a Kaya Guru, they are responsible for their own advice and their own professional obligations. Kaya5 provides the platform; a consultation is between you and that practitioner. Content a practitioner writes is theirs, and reviewed by us for safety rather than warranted as correct.
Payments
The app does not take payments. There is no checkout, no subscription and no in-app purchase. Where the app links out to a product, you buy from that seller on their own site, under their terms, and they — not Kaya5 — are responsible for the sale, the delivery and any complaint about it. We do not currently earn a commission on those links. If that changes we will say so plainly, here and at the link.
Kaya Coins
Coins are recognition for showing up. They are earned only, never sold, never transferable, and carry no monetary value. They cannot be bought, cashed out or exchanged. Reaching a membership tier is a threshold on your balance — it does not spend the balance, so a tier once reached is not lost. Coins are not a currency, not a stored-value instrument, and not a payment method.
Your content and your data
What you record is yours. You give us permission to process it to run the service — to calculate your routine and show you your own history. How we handle it, and every third party involved, is in the app privacy policy. You can export or delete it at any time.
What you agree not to do
Do not misuse the service: no attempting to reach another user’s data, no breaking or probing the service, no scraping our content, no reselling it, and no using it to give medical advice to other people.
Availability
This is early software and we are actively changing it. Features may move, pause or be withdrawn, and there may be downtime. We do not promise uninterrupted service. Where something is unavailable we aim to tell you why rather than show you an empty screen.
Liability
Kaya5 is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for outcomes arising from your use of educational guidance — which is why the sections above are stated as bluntly as they are. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing here affects your statutory consumer rights.
Ending it
You can stop and delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or puts other users at risk.
Changes
We will update these terms and the date above as the product changes. If a change materially affects you, we will tell you in the app rather than only editing this page.
