How do I start a simple daily routine (dinacharya)?

By Kaya5 Team

Dinacharya just means "daily routine" — aligning small habits with the rhythm of the day. You don't need to do everything at once; consistency beats intensity. A realistic starter: wake near the same time, drink warm water, scrape the tongue, move your body gently, and eat your largest meal at midday when digestion is strongest. Pick one or two and let them become automatic before adding more. Educational only — not medical advice.

The "one habit at a time" point is key. Warm water on waking is the easiest first win for most people — no equipment, and it gently wakes up digestion.

Anchoring a new habit to one you already have (e.g. tongue-scraping right after brushing) makes it stick much faster than relying on willpower.
