Every few months, there's a new miracle habit everyone seems to swear by. Drink this. Eat that. Fast longer. Wake up earlier. Take ice baths.
But bodies don't always go by the same rulebook. Which popular health hack didn't work for you? What happened that made you stop?

Intermittent Fasting - Felt like its not for a vata -pitta person. I started to loose weight so quickly and felt like loosing muscles along with fat. Regular night fasting window of eating dinner early (before sunset) and having breakfast around 9am is working better for me.

That's actually interesting. IF gets recommended so casually these days that we sometimes forget it's still a form of stress on the body. The muscle loss part is something I find interesting too — losing weight sounds good on paper, but what kind of weight you're losing and how you feel matters. How long did it take before you noticed it wasn't suiting you?

Like around 3 months time frame.I am more of pitta-Vata. I get tired / skinny if I loose the rhythm or routine. I love my 3 meals. I can feel my hunger or stomach growling when my meals gets very delayed due to work.

Drinking huge amounts of water because "more is always better." I was forcing myself to drink constantly, even when I wasn't thirsty. Instead of feeling healthier, I felt bloated and was running to the bathroom all day. I eventually realized that paying attention to my body's cues worked much better than chasing an arbitrary number.

It's interesting how the same routine can feel restrictive to one person and freeing to another. Sounds like you've found a rhythm that genuinely suits you. I think we sometimes get so caught up in optimizing meals and keeping up with trends that we forget to pay attention to what our own body is telling us.

I love this example. It's funny how "more" quietly became synonymous with "better." Sometimes the healthiest thing is simply paying attention to your body's cues instead of chasing a target. Even something as basic as water can become counterproductive when we force it.
